Americans drink everything with ice - tea, coffee, soft drinks, juice, water, alcohol. They even drink milk with ice!!! Obviously all this is still weird to me, although I'm getting used to it... slowly.
It's not a part of their culture to drink hot drinks.

Americans drink hot drinks. We drink hot coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, hot cider, etc. I've never heard of putting ice in milk, unless it's part of some other drink (like mixed with a type of alcohol and other stuff, or fruit to make a smoothie, etc.). Stop making broad generalizations that aren't true, RG!
it was in the church, I mean milk with ice... don't think there was any alcohol.
I've tried dry milk with vodka once - the worse thing ever... )))
And I don't care about being representative in this blog, so generalizations work for me
